Cash-n-Carry Begins Facebook Fundraiser
So much to talk about this week. Let’s touch on a couple preliminary items and then we will move to a fundraiser we would like to get you all involved in.
A reminder that the car giveaway ends September 21st, so go to our Facebook page and sign on for a chance to win that Chevy Cavalier.
Secondly, in honor of the brave men and women who serve as First Responders in our country, we are offering free yard admission and 25% off any one replacement item in our salvage yard for the week beginning 9/11. Just our way of saying thank you for a job well done each and every day.
Now to a cause we want to get everyone involved in. One of our neighbors, Haven Elementary School, could use some financial help so that they can further help their students receive a great education. With that in mind, from September 1st through December 31st, Cash-n-Carry will donate $1 for every person who goes to our Facebook page and “likes” us. In addition, anyone who checks in on Facebook while at our salvage yard during that time will mean another dollar will be donated to this worthy cause.
We encourage all of you to tell your friends, loved ones, and neighbors to go to our Facebook page and hit the “like” button so we can give a Christmas gift to Haven Elementary that they so justly deserve.
We are setting a $5,000 limit on this fundraiser and we have no doubt that we can reach that goal with the help of all our loyal customers.
And why are we doing this you ask? Well, the owners and staff of this Savannah salvage yard believe in community. When times are tough in an economy that is the time for the community to band together. These are hard economic times and we are all tightening our purse strings and trying to make it through, and schools are particularly susceptible to cutbacks during these times. We at Cash-n-Carry believe in our future and our future is the kids of our community. We want to give them a gift that will help them to continue to provide the best possible education AND not make cutbacks if at all possible.
We have no doubt that all of you out there agree with that sentiment, so we are looking forward to seeing you in the next couple months.
