Infiniti QX56 Proves Big Can Be Better

So are you from the school of thought that big things come in big packages? If so, you might be interested in the Infiniti QX56, a full-size SUV that delivers the goods in a large package and doesn’t try to be anything other than what it is…..BIG!

Debuting in 2004, the QX56 has only gotten better with the years, but what else would you expect from Infiniti? The automakers at Infiniti and Nissan do not take steps backwards, and the QX56 certainly steps forward in this genre of SUV. Powered by a 5.6-liter V8 that churns out 400 horsepower with a seven-speed automatic transmission, the QX56 is based on the Nissan Patrol, an all-wheel vehicle sold in Europe and designed to compete with the Toyota Land Cruiser. Until 2011 this was patterned after the Nissan Armada pickup truck, but since 2011 significant changes have been made and none really for the worse.

The list of standard features is quite impressive, the power is inspiring and the towing capacity more than adequate. What is lacking is adequate third row seating and the ride isn’t as smooth or responsive as will be found in some of the competition. Having said all that, the QX56 is still a very impressive automobile if big is what you seek. The Infiniti QX56 may not be the best in any one category, but the combination of things it is good at makes it a solid contender in the large SUV market.

What a shame it would be if you own one of these and it isn’t running; maybe you blew the engine or you were in an automobile accident and it was damaged beyond repair. You could always hold onto that hulk in hopes of one day being able to resurrect it from the dead or you could do what many people are doing and call Cash-n-Carry and let us buy your car. We pay cash for cars at our Savannah salvage yard and we pay top dollar. Give us a call at 912-663-2701 and let us give you a quote for your QX56 or any other automobile you might have laying around the yard or taking up space in your garage.

And what do we do with it once we have purchased it from you? We sell off the used parts of course, and when we can’t sell off any more replacement parts we turn what is remaining into scrap and sell the scrap metal and other components, thus doing a favor to the environment. You benefit, we benefit, and the environment benefits.
